A tradition on the 1st of January for the past 20 odd years where the freaks, geeks and the cross dressers come out to play. The cultural contradiction that is the Kochi carnival is intriguing. In a country that shuns homosexuality, one day a year all is forgiven. These contradictions I will never understand but atleast its progress right?
