Kochi Carnival

A tradition on the 1st of January for the past 20 odd years where the freaks, geeks and the cross dressers come out to play. The cultural contradiction that is the Kochi carnival is intriguing. In a country that shuns homosexuality, one day a year all is forgiven. These contradictions I will never understand but atleast its progress right?  

Art in Public Spaces

things happening right now in Kochi. The Kochi Muzariz Biennale opened on dec 13th to much awaited fanfare, I would go to sya globally. The credit to bring India’s first Biennale to Kochi goes to two Kerala Born artisits Bose Krishnmachari and Riyas Komu.
